Resilia Partners with Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation to Strengthen Organizations in Arkansas

Initiative to focus on rural, BIPOC-led/serving organizations across the state

New Orleans, La. - Resilia, a social enterprise with offices in New Orleans and New York City, and the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation have come together to strengthen the capacity of BIPOC-led/serving organizations throughout Arkansas.

The Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation pursues economic, educational, social, ethnic, and racial equity for all Arkansans. The partnership signifies the Foundation's efforts to further advance trust-based principles and practices with the nonprofits, organizations, and communities it serves.

“Meeting changemakers where they are in pursuit of racial equity in Arkansas is at the heart of the mission of the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation,” said Dr. Sherece Y. West-Scantlebury, CEO of the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation. “As such, we are pleased to support Resilia as they partner with the hard-working geniuses who run grassroots organizations in our state to increase their sustainability and resiliency.“

“The Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation has long been a leader in advancing racial equity throughout Arkansas, and our partnership helps amplify those efforts,” said Resilia CEO and founder Sevetri Wilson. “We are thrilled to work with them to support BIPOC-led/serving organizations and changemakers within their communities.”

Through the partnership, the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation has also joined Resilia’s flagship Elevate initiative, a first-of-its-kind national learning and action network of 30+ funders aimed at elevating the capacity and voices of BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving grassroots organizations.
