Resilia Honored by Goldman Sachs for Entrepreneurship

Sevetri Wilson, Founder and CEO Among the Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs at 2022 Builders and Innovators Summit

New Orleans, La. - Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) is recognizing Resilia Founder and CEO Sevetri Wilson as one of the Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs of 2022 at its Builders and Innovators Summit in Healdsburg, California.

Goldman Sachs selected Wilson from multiple industries to be honored at the two-day event. Sevetri Wilson is the Founder and CEO of Resilia, a fast-growing “tech for good” startup with SaaS solutions that help nonprofit organizations increase capacity and funding enterprises (foundations, corporations, governments) to scale impact by providing coaching and on-demand technical assistance to their nonprofit partners. Headquartered in New Orleans with a second office in New York, Resilia was founded in 2016 and named to Venture Beat’s top startups to watch out for in 2019.

Sevetri Wilson was recently accredited as a Black Entrepreneur 40 under 40. Other accomplishments include being named in Inc. Magazine’s 100 Female Founders building world-changing companies and PitchBook’s 27 leading Black founders and investor list in 2019.  In 2020, she became one of the only 50 Black women in the U.S. to have raised over $15M in venture funding and was named a Rising Star on the Forbes Cloud 100 List.  Sevetri’s second book, Resilient: How to Overcome Anything and Build a Million Dollar Business With or Without Capital, was released in 2021 and became a Wall Street Journal bestseller.

Prior to Resilia, Wilson founded Solid Ground Innovations, LLC., a nonprofit management and strategic communications agency. She received the 2010 Nobel Prize for Public Service and the 2010 Jefferson Award, and her work was featured in the U.S. Senate report on volunteerism to the Obama White House. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University and Harvard University.

“We’re delighted to recognize Sevetri Wilson as one of the most exceptional entrepreneurs of 2022,” said David M. Solomon, Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs. “They have made extraordinary contributions to a wide range of fields, and all of us are looking forward to meeting with these innovative thinkers.”

“I am humbled to be honored among this list of visionary entrepreneurs,” said Sevetri Wilson. “Resilia's participation in the Builders and Innovators Summit provides a great opportunity to share our vision of using technology to help nonprofits and change makers increase impact in the communities they serve.”

In addition to honoring the most exceptional entrepreneurs, the Summit consists of general sessions and clinics led by seasoned entrepreneurs, academics, and business leaders, as well as resident scholars.
